The MicroTherma 1 microprocessor based thermometer measures temperature over the range of -270 to 1768°C with a 0.1°C resolution over the entire range. Each MicroTherma 1 thermometer incorporates an easy to read, custom 4½-digit dual LCD display with open circuit, low battery, hold, max/min and °C/°F indication.

The thermometer should never need re-calibrating as the built-in microprocessor enables the instrument to continuously and automatically carry out self-diagnostic re-calibration. An additional feature allows the user to adjust the reading (±2.5°C) to offset any probe errors, correcting any inaccuracies of the thermocouple probe. The RayTemp 28 is a professional infrared, non-contact thermometer with dual laser dot alignment. The thermometer incorporates a 30:1 optic ratio (target distance/diameter ratio), which enables users to measure small targets from a distance or any item that is difficult to reach.

This compact, 8 litre capacity stainless steel water bath features an easy to read LED touch screen control panel which allows the user to set both the temperature and the time if required.

Ideal for checking thermometer accuracy:

Regular calibration checks of a thermometer and probe is essential to maintain confidence in your readings. An annual calibration to National Standards (UKAS), by an authorised/accredited temperature laboratory, is recommended for all thermometers, but you should also check your thermometers on a regular basis for obvious signs of error.

The frequency of temperature calibration checks will be dependent on how important accurate temperature measurement is to your business or process.

The ETI Water Bath should always be used in conjunction with a certified Reference Thermometer. This will have been checked against and/or be traceable to National Standards (UKAS). The Reference Thermometer should have a valid Certificate of Calibration, and this provides the confidence that your thermometers readings are accurate.
